Reviews and Ratings
We had a wonderful family weekend at this lodge, enjoying everything from the beautiful rustic rooms to the various activities available for the kids. The lodge had a charming atmosphere that felt like stepping into a beloved movie set, but there are definitely some areas for improvement, especially in terms of room amenities and dining options.
My stay at Mountain Lake Lodge was quite enjoyable with its beautiful scenery and engaging activities for the whole family. The rooms were clean and comfortable, though they showed some signs of age. The dining experience had its highs and lows, mostly due to pacing issues with the food service. The adventure park provided plenty of fun, but some activities felt a bit disorganized. All in all, it's a charming spot that I would like to visit again.
We had a mixed experience at the lodge. While the location is beautiful and ideal for family gatherings, the service and additional fees were quite disappointing this time around. The room temperature was hard to control, and we also faced challenges with the firewood. On the other hand, we enjoyed some great activities and the cabin far exceeded my expectations.
We had a pretty mixed experience at this hotel. While the dining experience was fantastic, with a delightful buffet and live music, the overall service left a lot to be desired. The rooms were in need of better cleaning, and we were disappointed by the lack of air conditioning in the main building. The location is great for exploring, but with some cleanliness issues, it could have been better.
I had a fantastic experience at Mountain Lake Lodge. The beautiful surroundings and engaging Dirty Dancing activities made my stay memorable, and the staff truly went out of their way to make us feel welcome. While the rooms were lovely, keep in mind that there are no TVs, which may not be ideal for everyone. The dining options were abundant and enjoyable, though some guests might expect more gourmet choices. Overall, I felt it was a great value for the unforgettable experience we had.
We had a fantastic overnight stay with tons of activities and beautiful scenery. The staff's hospitality really stood out, and the food in the tavern was absolutely delicious. However, some amenities like the lack of TVs in certain rooms and ongoing construction may not be ideal for everyone. While some areas may feel rustic, the charm makes up for it.
My recent stay at the lodge was largely enjoyable, marked by beautiful views and a lovely cabin experience. We appreciated the cozy setting with a fireplace and comfortable beds. However, the dining options could use some improvement, especially in the morning. There were also some operational hiccups that affected the overall flow of our stay.
We had a great Labor Day weekend at MLL. The lodge was comfortable and quiet, with a good Wi-Fi connection, but the room needed some cleaning and updates. The dining experiences varied, with tasty breakfasts and lunches but disappointing dinners. The outdoor activities like clay shooting were a highlight, although some equipment for archery could use improvement.
My stay at the resort was a mix of delightful experiences and a few disappointments. The cabins were in great shape with stunning views, and the dinner at the lodge was delicious. However, the morning coffee shop service was frustratingly slow, and I was surprised by the parking fee for overnight guests. Overall, it's a lovely destination for locals, but it might not be worth a long trip unless for a special occasion.
